Kristine Bayer has been drawing for as long as she can remember—ever since she could hold a pencil. She was homeschooled on 40 acres in rural California, surrounded by nature, and that upbringing still shows in her work today. Her illustrations are deeply inspired by the native plants and animals of Northern California and by the beauty found in the imperfections of hand-drawn illustrations.
With a degree in animation and nearly five years of experience working on a marketing team, Kristine brings both artistic skill and practical experience to her work. She’s excited to join Wonderfilled Books as an illustrator, helping bring stories and worlds to life for young readers.
Kristine also carries a strong vision for the future. She hopes to one day homeschool her own children, just as her mother did for her and her sister—passing along a love of learning, creativity, and curiosity to the next generation.

Please send an email with the subject line “I Need an Illustrator”. In your email please clearly state your needs – full picture book illustrations, cover, character art etc. Please clearly describe your desired style, characters, and setting. You may include a full copy of your story, or excerpts if you prefer.
